It seems so crazy to be saying that...our fifth year??!! Well, it's true!! And how amazing it is!! I just wanted to give some history and some future perspective of what this studio is all about, how it started, and where we are going!!</span></div><br /><div><span style="color:#ffffff;"></span></div><br /><div><span style="color:#ffffff;">Well, it all started when I was in fifth grade I suppose. That is when I first learned to clog. I also learned Jazz, Modern, and Hip Hop. Which to be perfectly honest, was my true love. I quit clogging after a few short years, and pursued my dream of dancing the other styles. I made the dance team at Capital High School, who did very well, even in National Competitons down in Aneheim California. After that I went on to Arizona, where I danced for Mesa Community College, and also had the opportunity to do a dance video for one of the Blues Brothers Cafes. What a thrill!! Well, my experiences there were not long, when my sister had an extensive knee surgery. I came back to help her with her family, and to run her dance studio...or to be more specific, her clogging studio!! I learned so much then! Clogging was fun!! I still had my eye on the Modern though, so I went to BSU where I danced on scholorship for the Maneline dancers. This didn't last more than a year though, when I started dating Brian , cause I ended up getting married and started a family. </span></div><br /><div><span style="color:#ffffff;"></span></div><div><span style="color:#ffffff;">I always knew that dance would be a part of me. Even now, if I had one dream, it would be performing all over the place as a profession. I am getting my dreams fulfilled though as I began this studio, because I get to teach others, and see them dream, and plan for their futures. It is like living it through their young hearts!! It is exciting each year to see the changes in all the dancers. To see them progress, and want their victories more and more! It makes me like it that much more!! It is even more heart touching to see my little kids dancing, and loving it. I will have three of them dancing this year...WOW!!! Who knows if they will keep it up in the future...I wont force them...but for now, it will definately give them that much more experience in this world of dance!!<br /></span></div><div><span style="color:#ffffff;">I see this studio accomlishing much in the future. It would be great fun to take some teams to new and exciting places where they can perform and compete their skills in new and exciting ways.
